Some of the most vulnerable children in the community are the one with special, their families are usually large and with limited resources, there is a lack of education of the family and the community that often takes them away from educational centers and their right to learn and on the other hand they are not able to reach their fully potential due to lack of rehabilitation services and rehabilitation culture which makes that these children often spend their lives ridden in beds and places in their homes isolated from society.
FONTEN provides rehabilitation services to the community of southern Haiti. One of our programs is pediatric patients care, with orthopedic, neurological, muscle skeletal conditions among others.
