By Carl Gann | Volunteer President, Orphans Africa
Thank you, donors! We have the 3 milk cows at our Secondary School helping to support orphan children. Having milk cows at the school may seem simple but, the long term effects are enormous. Milk goes to growing children and the cows can have more calves! It is a way to build self-sustainability at the school for the long-term. Most of us never have to face hunger and homelessness. But many orphans in Africa face it daily. That is why we take in orphans at our secondary school, put them in a dormitory, give them 3 meals a day, clean water, medical insurance, and an education. Having millk cows and calves is a huge part of ending hunger at our school. Let's grow this together and keep the orphan children fed and strong! Let's buy some more milk cows! Asante sana!
