After a dedicated month of preparation, our team has ensured the safety of two young girls, aged 4 and 9. These two girls were trafficked by their mother to a foreign man. This case was notably challenging, requiring operations in resource-scarce areas and navigating through over a thousand winding roads to get to the final location.
Our team was first contacted by Anti-Trafficking Unit, Royal Thai Police to assist in social welfare support alongside of government social workers. Upon reaching our destination, the absence of a child-friendly interview space did not deter us. Our innovative team transformed the setting into a welcoming environment for the children, integrating cutting-edge Live Interview technology, This adaptability and dedication to overcoming obstacles in the field are precisely what your support empowers.
The two sisters are currently living in safe place and will continue to have access to education and healing. Your support has made this case possible for us!
Big thanks to the TCIU (Transnational Criminal Investigation Unit of Homeland Security Investigation) team and the central investigation team for giving us the opportunity to collaborate on this international mission.
