Two more rescued!

By Boom Mosby | Director

Case operation meeting before the rescue.
Case operation meeting before the rescue.

Just recently our team was asked by a government shelter to assist in an investigation into one of the 14 years old girl who ran away from home. Our team conducted an online open source fact finding per her parents request which led into an information that she was advertised and sold on social media. We have alerted our trusted law enforcement (TICAC) to conduct official investigation. After one week of police investigation, they were able to locate the girl and arrested a trafficker. There were two girls at the scene. The multi-disciplinary team has conducted initial victim identification and has confirmed that the two girls are trafficked victims.

Our team was presence at the sting operation along with our government partners to ensure safety for the girls and started to build trust with them. The girls are now safe. With your support, we were able to assist with the operation,  and provide basic needs and emergency care pack for the girls as they have to relocate to a safe shelter.

Our team was able to continue to provide for other two 18 years old that were trafficked to a Middle East country. As they try to start a new life while waiting for their trial. One of the girls would like to open an online store so we assisted them with clothes and accessories that they can use for practicing in starting an online business. Our social worker also work with the government social worker and was able to get approved funding from the government to pay for lawyer for both girls.

Your contribution has helped us to assist with many child victims of human trafficking. Since November 2021 our team was all vaccinated and we are ready to travel places to assist more victims. Thank you again for your support and we are thankful that two more girls are rescued just right before Christmas!
