Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our initiative providing food to 200 elderly people. The elderly are sometimes neglected as food supply dwindle and the focus is for children and mothers. In this cases, happening more widely now compared to in the past, we enjoin the families to focus on the production of their own food supply by means of the growing of vegetables and legumes which they can harvest and use in the home with surplus they are able to sell in the market or with neighbors. Again thank you so much for your generosity.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian

Food garden is key
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing food to elderly people. With the ever changing climate and severe storms as well as the effect of the coronavirus pandemic, we focus our work to supporting elderly people who are the most vulnerable and affected of these situation. Severe changes in climate is here to stay and in fact we experience frequent storms that are stronger than in the past. The coronavirus pandemic is also here to stay with the mutations coming in and its reach even to remote villages. Our initial effort with assisting the elderly is by promoting vegetable gardening and we are happy to report that our elderly beneficiaries are slowly reaping their rewards with harvest of their vegetables. They are using their harvest for food as well and most importantly for income when they sell the surplus to their neighbors. We were able to support 175 elderly in this manner. Again thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario Sayre

Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing food to elderly people. During this reporting period, we observed that the elderly has less appetite especially with menu involving vegetables. Cooking the vegetables is a problem for those lacking the knowledge how to prepare nice menu so we made it a point to improve the cooking and the presentation of different vegetable menu. This is important in order to encourage the inclusion of vegetables in the menu and in the diet of elderly people. We are able to reach-out to 70 elderly people using this strategy. Hoping for your continuing support. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario Sayre
