This month's news is marked by the freezing of American aid throughout the world. A decision that is beginning to be felt in Haiti. The food security and nutrition sector has been strongly supported by USAID in Haiti.
For our part, our organization has taken adequate measures to intensify our actions on the ground despite the funding possibilities that are emerging drop by drop. Our program on emergency interventions for 2025 has been revised. Currently, our alert system contains four new localities in a situation of acute food insecurity. More than 3,500 people are concerned.
For our awareness program for healthy eating, last February, more than thirty schools were contacted by phone call. Fifteen schools have given their consent and agree to receive our team for their premises for awareness-raising activities that will begin next month.
Finally, the localities of Ranja, Corail have recovered after the floods that occurred last December. Thanks to a grant from GLOBALGIVING, our team was able to intervene in time by distributing food aid on site. Technical training on resilience, on setting up a family garden.
