Thanks to a Haiti Crisis Relief Fund grant from global Giving, CHSAN teams are providing food rations to more than 150 people experiencing severe food insecurity over the past week.
It should be remembered that the latest IPC analysis (March 2024) shows a major deterioration of the food crisis in Haiti with 5.0 million people, or half of the population, experiencing high levels of acute food insecurity; compared to the analysis of August 2023 (4.4 M).
For Sandra, an octogenarian, one of the beneficiaries of food vouchers << I would like to thank the CHSAN organization which allowed me to find food in a context where at home we no longer have anything to put under the teeth for several days>> she thanks.
Tony is a young man who left PP due to gang violence. << Thank you for this food parcel, he said smiling, I left where I lived empty-handed. Today, I am starting all over again, he concludes.
