Hello Friends of the Hogar San José,
Time flies, and we are already in April! Our highlight these past four months were the summer holidays that the girls enjoyed in La Cumbre, in the Cordoba Sierras. Lots of nature, rivers, trekking, and just being a child enjoying holidays! We even had some ceramic lessons.
We had a raffle that allowed us to raise the funds needed, and we had 6 volunteers that drove their truck to La Cumbre (about 800 km away from Buenos Aires), to be chauffeur for the girls. For all of us who volunteer, spending these days with the girls in an incredible experience!
They are back to school now settling in nicely.
Inflation in Argentina is rampant, we had over 250% in the last year, so at this point, we are tight with our funds. If you know anybody that can contribute with 20, 50 or 100 dollars a month, it would make a big difference for us.
Thank you for helping us help these girls!!
