Dear Donor
In Gaza, where war never ceases and bombings show no mercy, where there are no longer schools for children to attend or playgrounds for them to enjoy, lives Jad—a seven-year-old boy carrying more pain and hunger than his young years should bear.
Jad lost his father in the war, leaving him, his mother, and his two siblings in a small tent in Masqat Camp, north of Gaza. There are no walls to protect them from the cold and no food to satisfy their hunger. Every morning, Jad wakes up to the sound of his mother trying to comfort his younger siblings, dividing the last pieces of bread among them while hiding her tears so they don’t see her pain.
Your Bread… A Lifeline for Jad and His Family
Thanks to your support, we were able to provide Jad and his family with enough bread to sustain them. It may seem like a small act, but for them, it means survival. It means another night without going to sleep hungry. It means Jad doesn’t have to search for food among the rubble. When his mother received the bread, she held it as if she were holding the safety she had long lost, and Jad smiled—a smile that had disappeared since his father’s passing.
But… Is Bread Enough?
In Gaza, where war does not stop and hunger spares no one, hundreds of families like Jad’s are still waiting for a helping hand. Your continued donations mean continued life for them. They mean that Jad and others like him won’t go to bed hungry. They mean that hope still exists, even amid the destruction.
Thank You for Providing Jad and Others with Their Daily Bread
To everyone who has extended a hand and contributed to providing a meal for these children, thank you. You are making a real difference in Jad’s life and his family’s, reminding them that they are not alone in this struggle. Your donations remain a beacon of light in this darkness and a source of hope for those who have lost everything.
With many thanks
