In the last few months our team has continued to make infant formula deliveries to families in need. One family pictured above is an extended family of mostly elderly family members who can no longer work. Those who can work have struggled to find ways to make enough money to buy infant formula, and the mother cannot breast feed her son. They were very grateful to receive the formula that was delivered.
Sometimes it is difficult for us to go find families in very remote areas who contact us, but thankfully we have a large network of medical professionals in all areas of Ubon Ratchathani. Each Tambon (smaller than a county) has a clinic and sometimes nurses from those clinics come into the city to pick up milk on behalf of families in need. While we enjoy visiting families, it's not always necessary for us to be there and it's better if a medical professional from their community can be the one to check on the family and deliver the milk. We are so thankful for this network that works together!
