We continue to make milk deliveries each month as we learn of families in need. Sometimes we are contacted by private citizens who know of a family in need of formula but more often than not, it's our local Department of Health or Department of Social Development and Welfare that learns of these cases. Recently we visited a family of seven. Both parents are physically unable to work due to heart illnesses and an older sibling has been taking care of their newborn baby. Because they no longer had income from working, they could not rent a place to live so but they have been staying for free in someone's large outdoor patio area. It's not ideal but it's a safe place from the elements. They received several packages of milk and food supplies for their whole family. We will continue to check in on this family to see how we can continue to help them through this difficult time. Thank you for helping us care for families in need in Ubon Ratchathani!
