Healthy Meals for 130 Children - South Africa

We are thankful and proud of the healthy meals we can provide to the children at the Nourish Eco Village. We are happy to report that we started a second Eco Village at Seville B (Manyeleti) which isn't 100% operational yet but added about 450 extra children to out feeding scheme. We for seen this number growing as from next year. Hunger is a growning problem in the villages as the unemployment rate is growing every minute of the day. Our plan with Nourish Seville B will .be to make a eco village that provides a feeding scheme to the community children of Seville B with an oppertunity of a aftercare for the older children where they can also get a healthy meal after school. We will be offering computer literacy classes as soon as we can get funding to build a computer room. We are hard busy writing proposal for the new development.

We appreciate all the time and effert Triad and Charity has dedicating to the farm , they are growing fresh organic vegetables liike cabbage, onions, green peppers, carrots and spinach, This is then supplied to our grannies Royda, Grace, Joyce and Eva so they can prepare nutritional meals for the children. 

We add moringa powder to the meals so that the children can get some much needed proteins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants, and flavonoids which has huge benefits for growing children.

Throught this program we are giving the caregivers a little bit of a break, so they don't have the burden of woryring about food for their children when they are unable to provide a healthy meal for them .
