This is a follow up to the previous report. The provision of the school supplies will be done in October :
EBONYIDA FOUNDATION REPORT FOR THE NEXT IMPLEMETATION OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES PROGRAM FOR 500 PUPILS IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS WILL BE HELD THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR IN OCTOBER OF 2021.
BENEFITIARY SCHOOLS
In 2021, with the authorization of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), the foundation will use the same five public primary schools within Benin-City metropolitan area. The foundation will still continue to participate in GlobalGiving events in an effort to accomplish the set goal for $20,000 to accommodate 500 pupils. The EbonyIda schools selected for 2021 is:
SELECTION OF BENEFITIARY
Selection of beneficiaries was done by working with the head of schools (Head Mistress/Head Master) who know every pupil and their pre-existing constraints to basic school supplies. EbonyIda Foundation’s staff interviewed the selected pupils to ascertain their poverty score and determine if they are best fit for the benefits. Visits were conducted with the parens of the selected schools to ascertain poverty level and also capture bio data.
EVENT TIMELINE
The Ebonyida Foundation project preparation started in March 2021 with the little by little campaign and will be participating in series of oncoming fundraising events on GlobalGiving platform.
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TRAINING CENTER The Ebonyida Foundation has recently opened a training center in Benin City for the youth which will prepare the attendees with a trade. This training center will operate all year and the yearly donation of school supplies will continue by the foundation.

A summary will be provided after the October 2021 event for distributing school supplies to 500 students in Benin City.
