I am happy to report that your donations allowed us to graduate from the GlobalGiving Accelerator program, making us a recognized partner of GlobalGiving! As part of this effort, together we successfully raised $11,828 from 53 unique individual donors to support our project, 'Protecting Tanzania's Elephants & Black Rhinos'.
Because you went over and above our expectations, we raised substantially more than we anticipated! This will allow us to purchase a dedicated 4-wheel drive vehicle for the project, which we will use in August to track rhinos and elephants. Once their territories are established, we will plan our September operations to collar a number of individuals for long-term monitoring and protection of the population as a whole.
I wish to thank you each sincerely for your generosity and compassion in supporting this work. You are Silent Heroes, and it is your individual efforts that combined to make a significant impact!
I will update the team again in early October once I return from Tanzania.
