Executive Summary The Protect 500 Cleft Kids from Covid-19 project was initiated with the goal of safeguarding children with cleft conditions during the pandemic. As the threat of Covid-19 has diminished, our focus has shifted back to comprehensive cleft care. Over the last year, we have successfully conducted over 3000 cleft surgeries, providing critical medical interventions and holistic support to children in need.

Project Background The Covid-19 pandemic posed unprecedented challenges for healthcare delivery, particularly for children with cleft lip and palate conditions who are at higher risk due to potential respiratory complications. To address this, we launched the Protect 500 Cleft Kids from Covid-19 project, aimed at ensuring these vulnerable children received the necessary protection and care. Project Achievements Covid-19 Protection Measures: Distributed 500+ hygiene kits including masks, sanitizers, and educational materials to families of children with cleft conditions.
