This project initiative will support 100 Agricultural Value Chain Enterprises jobs for Nigerian youth among teaming unemployed graduates and open more doors to food production, alleviating poverty and reducing the post economic negative effects of COVID-19 pandemic .
There are currently over 100 million Nigerian youth battling with poverty and hunger as a result of high rate of unemployment.United Nations Global poverty index as reported indicating high poverty rate in Nigerian states. Government, has implemented many intervention programmes to relieve states, but not yet reach out to many citizens until the outburst of this Covid-19 pandemic which worsened the situation.This project will support 100 agricprenurs and provide food for many Nigerians.
This project will provides for Plantation of food crops management . These will yield several other enterprises development in the chain of processing and utilization of its output as a bye products for other industrial usage. Improvement in domestic agricultural production will reduce hunger and provides sufficiency in food production while the issue of poverty and unemployment will be reduced to barest minimum when youth are engaged in agricultural for economic production.
This project will support 100 Nigerian youths on modern day agricultural practices to cut across various aspect of agriculture for individual to engage in a particular field of crop. 100 enterprises will emerge using agriculture as yardstick for economic development.Prevailing economic situation has propelled the need for the diversification to ameliorate challenges of post Covid-19 negative effect,hunger and joblessness. 100 created enterprises will in turn engages more hands in return.
