In the early morning, Mr. Leat went to the bike shop to pick up bikes by pickup car. And others were directed to school by 7:00AM. We arrived at the school at 7:30 a.m. as it was not far. The place and classes were prepared by the teacher, so we started teaching easily and early. We divided the students into two classes. One was for students who would get the bike with their parents, and another class was for students who would get school supplies and a SolarBuddy.
Following the session, we distributed the students' materials to those who did not receive bicycles and served some snacks in each class. We gathered all students into a class and started a short speech. During that time, we invited all our guests, including the Project B manager, director, and students, to show their feelings as well. The students were so excited because they could get support and motivation to continue their education. After that, we provided the school supplies and SolarBuddy study lights to students in the class. For those who got the bike, we photographed them individually and in groups with their parents, and then our guests donated the bike to them.
We want to express our gratitude to the school director for providing a nice location and a warm welcome for us. One more thing, we want to express our gratitude to our sponsor for giving us this opportunity in a rural area and hope that you will continue to support this activity. Then, we collected all of our supplies and drove a minibus to transport them. Before safely making our way back to Siem Reap, we said goodbye to every teacher and school director present that day.
