The interview process

By Communications Team | Project B Bicycles for Education

On behalf of our communications team in Project B, we would like you to update a report about interviewing students at Chan Hear primary school. Please check the details below:

Interviewing Students for Bike Donation

Place: Chan Hear primary school

Beginning and during the mission

At the beginning of the mission, we met our volunteers and team at the campus around 5:30 AM and had breakfast all together at the restaurant. After that, we left Siem Reap city and went to Chan Hear primary school at 6:00 AM. We traveled by bus because the distance from our campus to school is too far. By the way, while we were on the bus, we also explained to our volunteers the process of interviewing students. We arrived at school at 8:15 AM. When we got there, we went to school to communicate with the school director. The process of the interview was smoother because the school director had prepared the students for the interview already. In addition, the student’s house is too far from the school, so some groups had to go on walking and some groups had to go by bus. We had 12 groups and 65 students for interviews. A group needed to interview 5 or 6 students. So the beginning and finishing of the interviews are going well.

Ending the mission:

After finishing the interview, we came back to school again. We finished the interview with all 11 groups at 10:40 AM. We relaxed for a few minutes because the interviewers were driving with a long walk and the weather was too hot also. We took photos with all the teachers and all the volunteers before heading back to Siem Reap. After we completed everything successfully there, we hurried back to Siem Reap city because we had a weekly meeting at the CRST campus. We did not have lunch together. Our plan for the interview is from 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM, but we have been done before that time. So, it was great for our team. We appreciated the involvement of all volunteers and the team that worked hard to get the best result. Without all of them, this task could not run smoothly like this. We already attached the pictures below please enjoy with the pictures below.

We look forwrd to distributing bicycles to the selected students in the next few months!
