Dear friends of Tukuy Pacha:
We are writing to you because we would like to send you our best greeting with the hope that this year your goals andwishes will be fulfilled. We also thank you for your donation to the project "Disability ID card for people in rural Bolivia", that will help poor people with disabilities to obtain the disability card. In Bolivia, unfortunately, this social group is still outcast and this card increases their visibility while providing legal support and help them to exercise their fundamental rights and access resources to which they are entitled, such as:
- Free health care services in hospitals.
- Protected income, in case of having more than 50% of disability.
- Transport discounts.
- Technical aids to improve independence.
- Scholarship opportunities at public and private.
- Free legal documents, and others benefits.
Therefore, with this document we help people with disabilities to exercise their fundamental rights.
In the next few months we will start the project that you donated for and, in future reports, we will communicate you the results we achieve with people with disabilities in the municipalities of Cliza, Villa Ribero and Arani in the department of Cochabamba - Bolivia.
