Congratulations to the Nyaka Young Tech Innovators! These amazing ladies won 'Best Live Pitch' at the 2017 National Technovation Pitch Event. We just introduced them to you this summer and they are already an award-winning club.
The National Technovation Pitch Event is an annual challenge for University and Secondary female students in Uganda. The club applied and was selected as one of the top two teams in the region. The girls were ecstatic that they made it in the top and they spent every day rehearsing for the live competition at Makerere University. All of their rehearsing paid off because they were named the winners of the ‘Best Live Pitch’ for their Patient Care App.
This is the first trophy and certificate that any club at the Nyaka Vocational Secondary School has won. Thank you for building these children a school that can prepare them for great success. This award is dedicated to YOU!
