Construction on the Multipurpose & Dining Hall at NVSS is progressing nicely. Everyone is excited to use the new facility. It will serve as a cafeteria and as a place for students to gather for assemblies and events. The exterior walls are up and the roof has been started as well. Currently, students have to eat their meals in classrooms or outdoors because there isn’t any kind of dining area. It’s also difficult to make the meals because the food is prepared and cooked in a small shed that is being used as a kitchen. Staff and students can’t wait for it to be done, but are grateful for the rest of the NVSS campus that is completed.
The laboratory and two workshops were open and ready for use when the school year began. The Biology Lab is stocked with new equipment that students have been using for lessons and experiments. This kind of hands on learning has been great for their practical experience. The vocational students also have been busy learning their chosen trades in the Tailoring and Brick Laying classes. The students at NVSS are proud of their school and thank you for giving them a great place to learn.
Thank you so much for your generous support!
