Did you ever think a biology lab would bring a tear to your eye?
As you look at these pictures of the two labs you've completed at NVSS, I hope you feel the full weight of what you have made possible. It isn't just that these two labs you've built are beautiful. It is what they stand for. This school that you're building is a symbol of hope to your students and the entire community. And these labs represent a key promise that is the foundation of this hope: opportunity.
Imagine for a moment what it is like to live in rural Uganda. Where your students live there is no biology lab like this one. Not one. There isn't a biology lab like this in the entire region! Secondary and vocational schools don't have computer labs--much less with internet!
Your students are going to have academic opportunities that do not exist in most of Uganda. They are going to be learning skills and testing concepts that will build up their knowledge and prepare them to excel in university.
Your students have this precious gift because of your compassion.
