Advances in Children's Sexual Education.
We began the year 2025 with an agenda focused on sex education for elementary school children, specifically for fifth and sixth graders. To date, we have trained over 200 students, 18 teachers, and more than 300 parents from all elementary school grades through workshops focused on pregnancy prevention and child protection.
The workshops for children were conducted over two days. On the first day, topics such as sexual rights, contraceptive methods, STDs, teenage pregnancy, bullying, and sexual abuse prevention were covered. The second day focused on dynamic activities to reinforce these topics.
Teachers were also trained to detect bullying, abuse, and sexual violence, in addition to reviewing protocols for action. For parents, we provided guidance on these issues and the available support resources.
We are proud to report that the start of 2025 has marked significant progress in our work of sexual education and prevention for children and adolescents. The active participation of students, teachers, and parents has been key in creating a positive impact in the community. We will continue working to strengthen these programs and expand their reach in the future.
We deeply thank our donors, whose support makes it possible for us to continue educating and protecting children, teachers, and families. Their contribution is essential to generating a lasting positive impact in our community.
