Today we signed a cooperation agreement with Killkay Foundation to implement Mi Escudo program in the "EL CERCADO", an indigenous community in Otavalo, which has a population of 2,000 inhabitants.
The implementation of the program will take place starting in January, at the “SAN JACINTO” school, for which Azulado delivers 23 “Mi Escudo” kits.
Fundación Azulado is also working with 5496 children, 160 teachers implementing Mi Escudo in five schools in the rural area near Quito.
Azulado works together with the Ministry of Education and allies in Schools, with awareness-raising activities and educational programs that prevent Sexual Abuse, promoting safe and risk-free environments.
Azulado and Universidad San Francisco de Quito will launch in January the fourth edition of a 3 month online training of Mi Escudo for psychologists, teachers, social workers and pediatricians .
We are still providing a monthly online Circle of Security program, with parents from different countries.
