Give pregnant goat to widow or orphan in Uganda

Still Changing Lives

By Mike Hildenbrand | Project Leader

A team will be traveling to Uganda in October to work alongside our Ugandan friends on several projects.  One of those projects is to give as many as 50 pregnant goats to a deserving widow or orphan.  These goat distributions are always a highlight for teams.  The team gets to visit a remote village, experience village life as they have a meal in the village and meet the village leaders and the recipients of the goats. This one pregnant goat can be the start of a herd that they can use to sell or trade gaots for goods and services. We always hear from the tribal leaders and governents officials how much this program is helping their village.  Very gratifying.  This is one of the most impactful, life changing projects we do in Uganda.  Thank you for your support.
