Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous donation to our project assisting women have access to pre and post-natal care. This project is very important especially in remote barrios where access to health services is poor and some of the families resort to local witch doctors for help. Morbidity and mortality in this situation is high. Going to the town center for medical help is also difficult due to lack of financial capacity. This reporting period we provided assistance to 5 women so that they have access to pre and post-natal care and they are very happy about it. We also provided education by visiting them in their homes and explain the importance of good health and good nutrition and to start gardening activities so they have access to food.
