Our plan to provide potable water supply to 30,000 rural dwellers is still in progress.
However, not much progress has been made in this project since the last report.
The communities that have already been connected in this project continue to enjoy fairly good supply occasionally interrupted as a result of power outage.
We are still confronted with two challenges; poor power supply and inability to extend the facility to the remaining rural settlements. The need for funds to complete this project as soon as possible can not be over emphasized as costs are skyrocketing due to inflation in the country.
More over, a part of the perimeter fence around the water installation collapsed two weeks ago following a heavy downpour of rain. Efforts are being made to replace the fallen fence and also instal America barb wires to secure the installation.
While we thank our numerous donors so far for what they have done so far, we look forward for more donations to enable us complete this project for our index communities.
Looking forward your cooperation.
My best regards,
Dr Dako Mamudu,
Chief Executive Officer,
Dako Foundation For Rural Healthcare And Education.
