School started last week and it's cuteness overflow as the children learn the daily routines and get to know their peers and teachers. At the kick-off meeting, care-givers expressed their gratitude for the post cyclone repairs and for always keeping the school going. It's extra special because preschools in Mozambique are few and far between!
Thanks to your support, with the funds raised to date, we fixed the classroom floors and ceilings, the playground shade structure and repaired the store room!
Update: The swings and jungle gym and slide are still broken down. We need to fill the fundraising gap to be able to complete the repairs.
Thanks again for your contribution to make "learn-through-play" lessons possible for sixty children a year, well before they start primary school. Your impact will last last a lifetime for the children you have lifted up.
Plesae spread the word so the preschooler of Quinto Congresso neighborhood can swing and climb and slide!
Abraço,
Juliet and Susana
