Pool fund is to tackle emergency immediately

1. Executive Summary

The Pool Fund for Disaster Emergency in Pakistan project was established to provide a rapid, coordinated response to various emergencies, including floods, earthquakes, and other natural or man-made disasters. The pooled resources enable swift action, ensuring affected communities receive immediate relief and long-term recovery support. This report summarizes the progress, impact, challenges, and next steps during the reporting period.

2. Objectives of the Project

Establish a flexible and responsive funding mechanism for disaster emergencies.
Provide immediate relief, including food, shelter, and medical assistance, to affected communities.
Support long-term recovery and resilience-building efforts.

3. Progress Overview

3.1. Rapid Response Teams

Deployed 02 teams within 24–48 hours of disaster events, to provide immediate support in evacuation, shelters, foods & NFIs (Non-Food items)
Collaborated with local organizations and local & provincial Government bodies to streamline aid distribution.

3.2. Community Resilience Initiatives

Conducted 02 disaster preparedness workshops in high-risk areas.
Established early warning systems in collaboration with local authorities.
