Hello, first of all I wish you are very fine, and as always, with great pleasure I make you part of our activities.
In this report I will introduce you to some of our brave warriors, they are between 1 and 22 years old, in other report i will introduce you the other ones.
Some are active patients, other ones are patients surveillance after treatment.
Some today are no longer with us but they have left a deep imprint, and that is what drives us day by day to continue in this great challenge.
The photos are of creativity workshops that have had as part of the ludic activities. Her parents, mainly her moms, have participated in psychological support and also creativity workshops. For us it is very important to keep the recreational part inside the hospital because as children and youngsters they need distractors that make their stay in the hospital more bearable since once they start their treatment protocol, it lasts for many months.
We have Moi, today is a child of 2 years old (patient surveilance), Moisito visit us at the hospital each month.
Fatima is a beautiful girl who likes to draw an painting.
Dana also likes painting.
Gabriel have had many hours of happiness during workshops
Kim is a smart and naughty girl, model of many pictures
We have an angel now (16 years old) she was our main force to implement the playroom with an area to young people inside since she was always very serious but at the same time with an inner strength that could never come to life.
In the play center, games are used as a communication and expression means between the therapist and the patient in order to help the child to understand his/her behavior in a better way and to solve adaptation problems. In addition to the fact that playing is fundamental for children, it is also a means to explore their environment, which in turn helps children to understand their world better.
The purpose of the play center is that children and teenagers may develop their physical, perceptive and sensory skills. Through games, children can practice their social skills and interact; their emotional skills and transmit feelings and emotions; and their cognitive skills, and learn through social games.
Hoping to have your support back, thank you very much for your interest in our project.
