Dears friends:

It is a pleasure for us to tell you a little about the activities that our patients and their parents can do during their stay in the hospital.
One of them is the knitting classe in the craft workshops which has been done with great success, so much that even dads have been interested in learning and investing their time to create dolls or clothes
The best thing is that in the beginning the patients learned to weave with a teacher, now are the patients who teach to weave to parents, new patients, or even nurses which has been very beneficial for them, since they learn, they are distracted and they spend nice moments while developing new talents.
During hospital stays it is important to stay active, participate in events and follow the traditions that take place throughout the year.
Together with recreation during the treatment process of a child with cancer, psychological attention is needed from both the child and the family
Psychological therapies are performed with the use of techniques that allow all family members to accept the disease and avoid phases of impact that the diagnosis of cancer.
Other activities that children and parents do is watch movies, draw, paint, and do homework for those who need it with the assistance of professionals.
While this project will be closed on the platform only, we will open another to continue updating the activities that children and young people have during their hospital visits.
