Since our inception in 2012, Bright Side Projects pioneered in providing plant-based meals for communities in Taiwan We have programs that aim to make this an engaging and interactive experience so make each experience more memorable. This includes [Kids in the Kitchen], where kids cook not only for themselves but for the community, [Culture through Cuisine], one of our creative education workshops in which kids learn about various cultures by creating plant-based versions of their traditional meals, and also delivery of plant-based food staples year end by working with plant-based vendors such as SUIIS.
We are happy to wrap up the 2023 year that with your donations, we were able to outreach to 3 indigneous locations in 2023, one of which we've been in for 12 years. Not only do we provide meals but these meals are often created with the kids themselves. In the 10 workshops and 2 deliveries year end, 187 meals were served (this counts youth only), 20 households received a total of 242 food staple items including 60kg of organic rice.
