2020 turned out to be a phenomenal year for us and the indigenous youth in Taiwan! We want to thank everyone for their support, including our sponsors based locally and our friends who generously funded us through GlobalGiving.
We were able to host conduct at least 10 creative education workshops serving plant-based meals for 100 indigenous youth in Hsinchu for the Chingchuan tribe and FUKID tribe in Taitung. Pairing plant-based meals andeducation made sure that we maximized our time with the youth. Plant-based menus that were mostly made with children included japanese sushi, tex-mex burrito, corn patties, chili carne, mushroom gravy mashed potatos, crepes, scones, fresh berry whip cream and waffles, pesto and mozzarella sandwiches - we were also able to deliver food staples to families year end.
