Community Forestry (CF) Program is the most successful program in Nepal, which has great contribution in conservation of natural resources as well as development of community supporting in people's livelihood. COFSUN, Nepal aims to plant 25000 trees in CF, which will cost One Dollar for each tree. Several development activities as well as individual's daily activities are contributing in environmental degradation. Therefore, planting for a dollar can contribute to save environment.
As all are familiar to the climate change which is due to the environmental degradation. World is moving fast to grow and develop with modern technologies. All these development activities has contributed in the environmental damage enhancing climate change. Our daily activities are also causing problem in the environment.
Now, world is acting to reduce climate change rate enhancing environment. Plantation is the key action for increasing carbon sink keeping greenery for the environment. It supports in restoration of forest, forestation and biodiversity conservation. This will reduce carbon in the atmosphere contributing to reduce climate change and improve the environment. Concept of planting a tree for just One Dollar. A small contribution of a dollar that will support in carbon sink and environment balance.
Planting a tree is not a great job however; planting tree with each dollar collective has great impact in the environment. Twenty-five thousand dollar can plant 25000 trees which will have larger influence to maintain the global environment which will be the long term impact of the project. The plantation of these trees will also provide direct benefit to the target community forest for the conservation of natural resources.
