Because of your support, our project “Plant Kitchen Gardens for Families in Need in India” is growing strong! To date, we have received over 800 donations from people around the world to grow nutritious fruit and vegetable gardens for families in need in the remote, underserved state of Jharkhand, India.
The seeds we distributed this spring have grown into nourishing vegetables such as cucumbers, beans, and tomatoes. Through ongoing training, we taught gardeners to make and use natural fertilizers and pesticides to ensure the gardens were as healthful and bountiful as possible. In addition, we are educating more families in need of the benefits of organic kitchen gardens to help reduce malnutrition even more.
Together, we are supporting and empowering these villagers with sustainable skills to nourish themselves and their families. Thank you!
In many of the same underserved villages, we are also planning to teach yoga skills to 1,000 children in need. It is a simple & sustainable way to engage young minds and boost their potential! Please see our project page for more information and to help support this altruistic project!
Thank you for reaching out across the globe to support our “Plant Kitchen Gardens for Families in Need in India” project & for spreading the word about our new initiative: Teach Yoga to Village Children in India
