The project's goal is to make a summer camp for 15 students from different regions as well as those with a low socio-economic background in a natural environment and gives them a chance to discover and appreciate nature, others and themselves through training, workshops, hiking, and games.
During the school experience of Bulgarian students, they rarely have the opportunity to join extracurricular activities, clubs or workshops that would nurture their natural curiosity, creativity and learning potential. This especially true of children from poor socio-economic backgrounds. Moreover, most of them have never physically left their environment and haven't had the chance to form relationships with people from different regions and backgrounds or travel to explore.
During and after the summer camp students would be more open, knowledgeable and skillful. They would believe in their own potential to learn, grow and change their environment. Students will be responsible for their own personal development and would be more aware of their psychological and emotional world. They would be able to form relationships based on cooperation, trust, acceptance, and empathy. Students will have a changed look on nature and its wonders and would foster love and appreciati
We hope that by having these 15 students experience the camp we've created specifically for them, we will be able to develop their long-term capacity for learnig, their personal and social skills, and deep appreciation of nature. Ultimately, they will be the ones who pass on this experience and help shape and uplift their communities.
