On August 10, 2024, Tewa gathered donors, grantee partners, volunteers, and supporters at Satdobato, Lalitpur, to initiate a tree planting initiative in an area affected by forest fire. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was established between Tewa and the community women's organization, Mahila Uthan Janjati Krishi Samuha, outlining responsibilities for the care of newly planted saplings. Despite a target of NRs. 300,000.00 (USD 2224.00), Tewa successfully raised NRs. 274,800 (USD 2037.00) during this event. Since 2008, Tewa has raised a total of NRs. 2,668,502 (USD 19788.00) from this initiative. Each participant contributed NRs. 300 (USD 2.22) per sapling, demonstrating strong community engagement.
