On the 5th of December, 2023, Tewa successfully conducted its annual fundraising event, "Raffle Opening," at Tewa's Open Hall. Out of 7500 printed raffle tickets, approximately 7300 tickets were distributed. The event saw active participation from 42 grantee members representing 21 partner organizations from various districts. Tewa's grantee partners showed strong support by purchasing raffle tickets, even those who were physically present on the day of the event. The event was attended by Tewa's grantee partners, volunteers, donors, board and general members, as well as other well-wishers.
As in previous years, Tewa organized the event systematically by displaying four clay pots (Gaagris), into which volunteers placed table tennis balls marked with numbers 0 to 9 corresponding to the ticket numbers sold. The lucky draw began with the consolations prizes, and a total of 26 prizes, were sponsored by Tewa's network. Tewa is pleased to announce that the event raised NRs. 3,55,350.00 (USD 2300.00), exceeding the target of 3 Lakhs (USD 2200.00).
