Project Report | Jun 20, 2016
100 Students Currently Receiving Scholarship

By Philip Appiah | Founder and SEO

We are most grateful to all who have contributed to the success of the PEI program to date. The PAAJAF Educational Institute is an educational program created and administered by the PAAJAF Foundation.

The PEI program is an educational facility that creates an enabling environment in which children between the ages of 1 and 15 years old can develop their fullest human potential. The project includes a boarding house facility, recreational facilities and a solid educational, ethical and moral program to prepare students for their future life as active and responsible citizens. In the long-term, the PEI program aims to expand the project to University level.

For the year 2016, the project has a goal of reaching 64 children and 10 adults by the close of the period under consideration - December 2016. We locally in Ghana are proud to update our contributors and our visitors from the field about the status of PEI as of today June 17, 2016. Currently, the project is providing scholarship education to 100 children. The scholarships are rendered in the following way:

  • Full scholarship
  • Partial scholarship

To read more about the above scholarship categories, please visit this link: http://www.peischool.org/scholarships/

At the moment, we have 20 children who are receiving full scholarships and 80 children receiving partial scholarships. Our original goal was to provide 30 full scholarships and 34 partial scholarships.

Our current challenge

The lease of the school venue will expire in October 2016 and funds have not been allocated to rehire the building in order to maintain the school’s operations. The school is at a critical point of need, in which we require assistance to rehire the venue as well as to buy land to construct our own building for the school.   PEI currently needs USD$8,000.00 to maintain the school’s current venue for another two years. We need your help. Could you please share our story with your friends? Or, do you have any specific questions you wanted to ask about the PEI school program? If yes, please feel free to send us an email at info@peischool.org.

Thank you,

PAAJAF Team
