We the staff and students here at PAAJAF Foundation school will continuously express our sincere appreciation to you for your pass benevolentness towards us - our scholarship school at Gbawe in Ghana.
In fact, your donation has sustained the school from inception to today as I am writing to you. The school is now in examination weeks and will vacate for the 3rd term break on August 8, and will resume on September 4, 2018 to start the 2018/2019 academic year.
As YOU are our partner in this project - by making great changes from your distance- YOU commendable and we need to respect and appreciate you as well as mentioning you wherever possible. We value YOUR investment a lot, it is mandatory to update you to see how things are going on at the project site due to your investment into the education of the lives of children at Gbawe, Ghana.
As previously reported, as at today July 23, 2018. We are still maintaining the 145 students we have in the school. The children are aged 2 - 7 years. Currently it is from Creche to Primary 1. September 4, 2018, we have decided to hold on the primary 1, due to lack of space in our current venue and no fund to locate space. Unfortunately, the parents/guardians of these children/students are been disturbed but we don’t have option till support is received. Do YOU please have any input or question since you also own this project that is why we have been updating you?
As we also reported to YOU about our current situation of our school venue. We are in a rented premises and the rent expires on December 14, 2018 and the LandLord has asked us to move from the premises if we could not afford to pay the rent. In fact, we have no fund to pay it now and if no intervention is received the school will shout-down.
Fortunately, we have got one anonymous donor have started giving us a monthly donation of $100 towards this and July 16, we have received another one-time donation of $20 which also we value it as lot and contributes to it. We would like to appeal to you all our previous donors and our future donors to come to our to aid to raise the current balance of this project which is $3205 to contribute towards it. Though we need $10,000 as we are looking for other avenues to reach this goal.
