Dear Supporters,
Another 75 Buffalo Bicycles along with helmets, safety vests and tool kits have been added to the Pedal Power for Kenyan Education program. Your donations have helped provide a total of 250 bicycles and accessories. This school year the students will put a total of 500,000 miles on them. It's more than travelling to the moon and back!
Most important is that students will improve their attendance and academics. Girls especially appreciate that riding a bicycle to school is safer than walking 5 or more miles. Parents and school staff are thankful for your contributions that help their children.
Please keep Pedal Power in mind for Giving Tuesday, November 29. GlobalGiving will be adding $1,200,000 to the funds raised by participating organizations.
