In September 2017, a peace and reconciliation programme was launched for kids from some of the most marginalised schools in Israel. The ambition, to use rugby to break down racial and religious divides, and to build peace and unity through kids playing together and competing against each other.
Atlas is delighted to report that through the generoity of three UK individuals we have funded work in 12 schools across Israel. This is delivered by Rugby Israel and is focussing on teamwork and reconciliation in divided communities.
