PRC provides parents support and guidance.
Dear Friends,
We are pleased to announce that we have achieved the funding goal for our project that provides support to the parents of children with hearing loss, in addition to clinical services for children with hearing loss. We are beyond grateful for the generous donations that made this possible, enabling us to provide training, counseling, education, guidance, and hands-on tool kits to parents as they navigate options and interventions for their child.
We are currently working on another project and will share the exciting details with you, our committed supporters, soon. Thanks to ongoing contributions from our community, we will continue to expand our reach to even more children with hearing loss and their families.
Sincere thanks from all of us at PRC!

PRC supports parents in many ways.
Dear Friends,
Thank you for your continued commitment to Potomac River Clinic and our programs for parents of children with hearing loss! We are able to offer a variety of services designed to help parents provide their children what they need to succeed in school, engage at home and connect with their community.
Our Parent-Infant Program, Sound Support sessions, technology assistance, specialized parent-child interaction therapy and coaching are all available to families regardless of their ability to pay thanks to the generosity of our community.
With your help, we will continue to work on new ways to support the chldren and families we serve.
Thank you!

Our project is growing!

Dear Friend,
We are grateful for the contributions from our community to our Parent Support programs. You have enabled us to provide parents counseling, training, education so they can support their child with hearing loss, specifically we help them:
- understand their child's emotional, developmental and communication needs;
- learn more about interventions, technological advances and options; and
- become part of a community where they can share experiences and knowledge with each other.
One of our offerings, the Parent-Infant Program, provides real life help during weekly sessions. The virtual format allows parents and their infants to participate consistently without complicated logistics. One family recently relocated to Germany and has continued to attend sessions, which became even more important when their second child, also with hearing loss, was born after their move. The success of our program is also demonstrated by parents of toddlers who lead discussions and offer advice to parents of newly diagnosed infants. Their first-hand experience is invaluable and provides much needed moral support.
Again, thank you for your commitment to this and other Parent Support programs that help families achieve the best outcomes for their children with hearing loss.
With gratitude,
