Transform The Life Of Homeless People In Venezuela

1.165 people have been assisted by Panabus in 2024.

During the first six months of this year, Panabus has provided health services to 368 homeless people, offering them psychosocial care, primary medical care, personal hygiene and food. We also continued to strengthen our program of community health days, where we attended 797 people in vulnerable areas of the Venezuelan capital city.

In addition, we have been able to concretize our program of support to women, being at this moment an active part in the family and sexual planning of Venezuelan girls, adolescents and women. In our health activities, gynecological services are now available: medical evaluation, cytology tests and contraceptive methods. In the coming months, we will work on increasing our reach by adding services such as ultrasound and mastology.

Our commitment continues to be to improve the quality of life of the homeless and vulnerable communities in our country. Our goal is not only to maintain, but also to expand our coverage, reaching more people and offering more comprehensive and effective services.

Durante los primeros seis meses de este año, Panabus a brindado servicios de salud a 368 personas en situación de calle, ofreciéndoles atención psicosocial, atención médica primaria, higiene personal y alimentación. Así mismo, continuamos fortaleciendo nuestro programa de jornadas de salud en comunidades, donde atendimos a 797 personas en zonas vulnerables de la ciudad capital venezolana.

Además, hemos logrado concretar nuestro programa de apoyo a la mujer, siendo en este momento parte activa en la planificación familiar y sexual de la niña, adolescente y mujer venezolana. En nuestras actividades de salud ahora se encuentran disponibles los servicios ginecológicos: Evaluación médica, toma de citologías y colocación de métodos anticonceptivos. En los próximos meses, trabajaremos en el aumento de nuestro alcance al sumar servicios como ecografías y mastología.

Nuestro compromiso continúa siendo mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas en situación de calle y las comunidades vulnerables de nuestro país. Nuestro objetivo es no solo mantener, sino también expandir nuestra cobertura, llegando a más personas y ofreciendo servicios más completos y efectivos.

This 2024 comes loaded with new ideas and with them the great challenge of continuing to offer an excellent quality service to our breadwinners in homelessness or vulnerable situations in Venezuela.

We will dedicate part of our efforts to the health of women and their children, that is why in the framework of International Women's Day, we start with our Medical - Dental Day, including besides the already known gynecology service, mastology consultations, breast ultrasound, pediatrics and nutrition.

In the coming months we will continue with our traditional street routes, as well as the Special Days and Medical-Dental Days.
