Our wards are making progress in their studies. Maxim received an honorable certificate! This coincided with the fulfillment of Maxim's dream. Which one? Never guess what! The guy moved from a wheelchair to a bicycle! We fulfilled his dream. Yes, that happens!
Dima, another foundation’s ward received a diploma for the successful completion of reading lessons. This year he goes to school. He loves computer games and dreams of the sea. Last year, Dima visited the sea thanks to you. This year, in connection with lock down, we have not yet considered such an opportunity.
And we continue our super important mission to fulfill the dreams of our wards. Before getting sick, Anton went to Don Juan’s opera in Lviv and watched for 3 hours how the musicians played in the orchestra pit, questioned about the instruments. He didn’t even want to go to intermission. The family returned home and Anton passed the selection to the music school and then fell ill - a brain tumor.
Now his hand does not work well, strabismus, but he really dreamed of learning to play the flute. Why exactly the flute? The wording is of course unusual. Anton said: "In order to put the snakes to sleep." Mom asked where he was going to find a snake? Anton replied: "Let's go to the forest, and they themselves will come to the flute." Perhaps this desire was not clear to us adults but it is for Anton.
This dream was fulfilled by a volunteer of Tabletochki foundation palliative program. She just wrote us: "Hello! I have a flute, they will send it today."
Anton was happy and tried to play, of course he didn’t succeed and was surprised: “Why can't I play the flute?”. But he will certainly learn, thanks to your support!
