Palliative program report January-March 2020

By Oksana Gozdachenko | Senior Fundraiser

Overall expenses for Palliative program of Tabletochki foundation in January-March 2020 made $26844 (March is not included in the report as far as by now 1st quarter 2020 report is not ready because of the obvious time reasons).

We purchased medicines, medical equipment and consumable materials for $16714, we have provided the targeted assistance for $408, special nutrition - $514, we paid for funeral services $2550, presents, home help and other expenses - $1257. Administrative expenses of the foundation in January-March 2020 made $2965.

Even if it’s impossible to cure child’s cancer, we stay with the family. Helping to live the grief. Together we rejoice in every smile of parents. And yet, there are many of them.

Psychological support plays a big role in palliative care that is why we pay a lot of attention to it: we paid for psychology services $2436. In December we launched our third group of physiological support for families who lost their kids from cancer. This time, we have twenty parents and eleven siblings.

These meetings are always filled with energy and support and are equally exciting for the organizers and the participants. And these meetings occur thanks to you - our donors!

All the children in the palliative program of the foundation are taken cared about. We make all our children happy with gifts - toys, books, fulfill their dreams and also take care of siblings and parents.

It is important to note that we select each gift in accordance with the condition and capabilities of the child.

We are incredibly thankful to you! Palliative is not about death but it’s about life till the end.
