Providing essential humanitarian aid is at the forefront of the Gift of the Givers ethos and the foundation continues its lifesaving work in Palestine.
Throughout the holy month of Ramadan, we established numerous feeding centres that provided thousands of Iftar and Suhoor meals to displaced families in the northern and southern regions of the Gaza Strip. These feeding centres have been instrumental in alleviating the hardships faced by those forced to flee their homes, ensuring that they can break their fast and participate in the pre-dawn meal with dignity.
In addition, drinking water, food parcels and hot meals are delivered to the thousands of displaced citizens. Access to clean water has become a critical issue in Gaza, with frequent targeting of water tanks and disruptions to supplies exacerbating an already dire humanitarian crisis.
Amid the devastating war in Gaza, children remain the most vulnerable victims, with their schools and homes destroyed, putting their education and psychological well-being at great risk. Our dedicated teams are on the ground, working tirelessly to provide a nurturing environment that encourages learning, play and healing for these young survivors.
Through a comprehensive range of activities, we provide essential school supplies, create recreational spaces for fun and relaxation, facilitate art therapy sessions for emotional expression, distribute nutritious snacks, decorate tents with vibrant drawings, and show educational videos.
