Dearest Supporters we are so happy to share with you the magic of the season and the lives we had the opporunity to tranform this past quarter.
We went from an extraordinary summer to an amazing fall!! Thanks to our partnership with Orange County Public Schools we educated 2,300 7th graders throughout the county, plus hundreds of youth with Boys and Girls Clubs and other program Partners.
We lead several parent educational programs this fall as well and are excited to be expanding that part of our mission in 2025 with a grant from Orange County.
We also had the opportunity to train 300 OCPS social workers, counselors, SAFE coordinators, teachers, deans and principals along with Florida School Board Members from around the state.
We are so thrilled to continue our program delivery with other youth focused organizations such as:
4th Quarter Poster Contest
The students continue to surprise and delight us with their artistic talents when creating posters following the training they receive. We had a Q4 Poster Contest and we had winners from almost every school we provided our program to this fall.
They were hightlighted at our Nov 20th Lights on For Children Event at the Avalon Park Art Cultural Arts Center. There were 50 posters on display and winners in 4 different categories:

StoryTelling
We even had some local artists join in as well and added some beautiful pieces of art to the display.
Lights on For Children Celebration
Our Community Celebration event on 11/9 was a big hit. We had 80 new and old friends come learn more about Paving the Way Foundation and be given the opportunity to shine the light of knowledge in their neighborhood and community.
This was our first sit down dinner event and had the opportuinty to honor several people in our community that have supported us through the years:
The evening was filled with conversations and an opportunity to learn more about ways they can stand with us in saving childrens lives through education, including each person attending recieved a packet filled with life saving information and an opporunity to share what they learned with others.
Trainings and Community Acknowledgement
We provided training for several international visitors again this fall from around the globe, all committed to finding effective ways to disrupt the cycle of child trafficking and to end online exploitation of our kids. Grateful for our partnership with World Orando and the State Departments Internaional Professional Exchange program.
In September we had two wonderful opportunities to be honored for our work. One by American Society for Industrial Security Women in Tech Gala and given a generous donation to support the work we continue to do with children and families. We are grateful for the recognition and contribution!
Our President and CEO, Jan Edwards was also recognized by the American Asian Chamber of Commerece in as one of the nomications for the Key Contributor in the Community Award for the work Paving the Way does in ending child exploitation. We were honored to be recognized.
Lastly, we participated in a dozen Community and Outreach events to educate and empower our community, preventing our children from being take advantage of and saving lives!
We look forward to a powerful and impactful 2025 making a difference with youth and familie in our communities.
