Dear Donors,
We are thrilled to announce that this year we have reached the highest number of newly enrolled children in our program, "La Cocina de los Niños," in the past two years following the pandemic. Our mission is to nourish more children so their nutritional development enables them to complete primary school with the best academic performance possible.
This semester, the nutrition program has been successfully implemented, and the children have enjoyed delicious meals such as stews that provide vitamins, minerals, and proteins contributing to the physical and cognitive health of the children. Lili´s grandmother visited us and shared that her 6-year-old granddaughter, who just started first grade, greatly enjoys her experience at the Sarahuaro kitchen. Every day, she shares anecdotes with her grandmother about her communal dining experience with other children in the kitchen, discussing the names and acquaintances she's made. Her favorite fruit is strawberries, and he enthusiastically tells his grandparents how delicious these fruits are, as they are a luxury that is not usually purchased for their home.
We are grateful for your continued support in making these positive impacts on the lives of these children, fostering both nutritional and social development. Thank you for helping us create a brighter future for them.
