The Sarahuaro Foundation is proud to announce that in July, 46 of our children’s feeding program beneficiaries successfully graduated from elementary school. Our program contributed to their overall well-being, as well as their cognitive and social development. A shining example of the impact of our program is Juliana. As did many of the 46 graduates, she has benefited from the Sarahuaro feeding program since first grade. During this time, Juliana, like most children in our program, developed a positive connection with healthy meals. Her favorite meal is grilled chicken with carrot salad!
We are excited to share that Juliana is a straight-A student and will be transitioning to Junior High in September. We are confident she will continue to excel in her academic life.
Juliana has an aspiration to become a teacher – a choice her parents proudly support. Along with her parents’ dedication, our program is nurturing her dreams and the dreams of the next generation.
We want to recognize the incredible contribution of Juliana´s mother who has volunteered in our kitchen for six years. In addition to dedicating her time and effort to ensure that all of our children received healthy meals, she also encouraged the children to make good food choices. Her dedication is an example of the sense of community that lies in the heart of the Sarahuaro Foundation.
We celebrate these achievements and acknowledge that none of this would be possible without your continued financial support.
